Therapeutic Massage Treatment

It’s EASY. No more trying to determine which massage technique you need or want.  Simply select the length of treatment…and book it.

WHY THIS TREATMENT?   Every human body is different.  Each person’s goals are different.  It just makes sense that each massage treatment should be different too and customized to meet your goals.  Some wish to gain better range of motion, some have chronic pain, some need to enhance their sports performance while others need a relaxing Swedish treatment.  At the beginning of your session, your therapist will either review with you and existing plan already in place or will create a treatment for you based on information you bring to the table.  Modalities & techniques may include, but not limited to: Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Swedish, Myofascial, Gregorian Method, Isometric or Passive Stretching, Zero Balancing, Cupping or even Heat/Cold Therapy.

THE GOAL: to provide a professional, beneficial, therapeutic treatment with your goals in mind.  Communication between therapist and client is essential to achieve optimum results.

Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy ®
“The deepest, most luxurious massage on the planet”.  A barefoot massage technique using deep compression effleurage strokes that glide over the body.  This technique utilizes parallel bars on the ceiling for balance and leverage as the therapist uses her feet to deliver the strokes.  It is deeply relaxing like a traditional Swedish massage with long slow strokes, but uses the therapist body weight to press, sweep, swirl and relax the muscles and reach into the deeper layers.

Harmonious Balance Therapy – Eastern meets Western

This treatment utilizes the technique of Zero Balancing  as developed by Dr. Fritz Smith in the early 1970’s.  The client will be fully clothed (less shoes) wearing loose comfortable clothing.  Zero Balancing (ZB) is a powerful touch therapy for body & mind.  Deeply relaxing and energizing, ZB touches your core, at the level of bone, to promote wellness and balance.  Following a protocol that typically lasts 40 – 50 minutes, the practitioner utilizes finger pressure and gentle traction on the bones and joints to create fulcrums, or points of balance, around which the body can relax and reorganize.  A Zero Balancing practitioner consciously and actively engages BOTH body energy and body structure simultaneously – bringing them into balance within themselves and with one another. Often, with Zero Balancing, both energy and physical function improve dramatically.

Hot Stone Massage
Hot stone massage is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones as an extension of their own hands, or by placing them on the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can work more deeply, more quickly.

We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:
24hour advance notice is required (48 hour appreciated) when cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.

Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged for their “missed” appointment.

If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
